• Starting from Charlotte Square
• At traffic signals continue onto South Charlotte Street - A8
• At traffic signals turn right onto Princes Street - A8 (signposted Glasgow)    
• At West End traffic signals continue onto Rutland Place - A8 (signposted Glasgow) 
• At traffic signals turn left (one-way) then immediately turn right into Torpichen Place (signposted Glasgow).
• At next traffic signals turn right again onto Morrison Street - A8 (signposted All other routes) A8
• Continue forward (one-way) to join Haymarket Terrace - A8 (signposted Glasgow)    A8
• At Drumbrae Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Glasgow Road - A8 (signposted Glasgow) A8
• At Maybury Junction drive straight on (signposted City Bypass, Glasgow)  A8
• At Gogar Junction continue through underpass - A8 (signposted Edinburgh Airport)  A8
• Continue along A8 (signposted Glasgow, Forth Road Bridge)  A8   
• At Newbridge Roundabout take the 4th exit, then join the M9 motorway (signposted M9 Forth Road Bridge, Stirling)
• Leave the M9 at junction 10 (signposted Stirling, Callander, Crianlarich), then at roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A84 (signposted Callander)
• Continue onto the A84. Drive through Doune    A84   
• Continue onto Stirling Road - A84. Pass through Callander  A84     
• Continue along the A84 through Strathyre  A84
• Turn right at the Kingshouse Hotel
• Arrive at FK19 8PQ, Balquhidder
