Whisky, Food and Mhor
Enjoy one night dinner, bed and breakfast at the sumptuous Monachyle Mhor Hotel and wind your way through the Trossachs for a unique experience at Glengoyne Distillery.
The Master Blender Session will guide you through the distillery and into the historic Sample Room where you will make your own unique blend with words of encouragement or two from our expert. Your creation will be bottled for you to take home.
In your room you’ll find a dram of the exceptional Glengoyne 21 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, together with a traditional Scottish Black Bun by Mhor to complement the whisky.
Glengoyne and Mhor are within easy reach of Glasgow and Edinburgh, surrounded by a plethora of sensational golf courses and spas.
Glengoyne and Monachyle
Are two family-owned Scottish treasures who put INGREDIENTS, PASSION and TASTE at the heart of what they do. Tom Lewis takes the finest ingredients from Mhor hill farm, cottage garden and shooting estate to conjure up food that has launched a cavalcade of Scottish food pilgrims. Nestling in an unspeakably tranquil spot on the shores of Loch Voil, Monachyle Mhor Hotel is an oasis of loveliness in a mad, bad world. Glengoyne offers in-depth visits, tours and tastings to a wee gem of a distillery, where they set out to entertain as much as to educate. Situated at the foot of Dumgoyne Hill, overlooking Ben Lomond, Glengoyne’s world renowned Single Malt is created using Scotland’s slowest distillation process, delightfully expensive sherry casks and a few generations of know how. The whisky is good and the men are proud.
